The Splash Stories podcast celebrates the 90's music scene and the influence of London’s infamous Splash Club venue which was to London what CBGB’s was to New York in 90’s UK. Splash Stories takes in the stories, the bands, the live shows and talks to the people on the scene, the fans, the journalists, the fashions and the wider entertainment industry. Backstage stories and interviews behind the shows at the Venue from- Oasis,Travis,Skunk Anansie, Placebo, Feeder, Moby, Weezer, Bush, Beck, Therapy Echobelly,Goo Goo Dolls, Weller, OCS ...the list goes on.... and with the celebrated scenesters from photographers, managers Dj's & journalists and those who were there and the backtale of the struggle behind building the venue whose star was to burn so brightly it took 23 fire engines to put it out.And that's just the start we celebrate the future of all our guests and always the stories...

Splash Stories set sail on an adventure with Starsailor's James Walsh celebrating 25 years .
For those loisteners who don't know Starsailor are a post Britpop band who formed whilst studying a Music course at Wigan and Leigh College Greater Manchester
Splash Stories touched on songwriting pressure, touring with The Rolling Stones and hitting two score and five years with a passion in 2025 and life as a Starsailor
Starsailor have released six studio albums and scored ten Top 40 hit singles in the UK. Their first album Love Is Here was released in 2001, followed by Silence Is Easy (2003) and On the Outside (2005). After the release of its fourth album All the Plans (2009), the band entered into extended hiatus until 2014, during which its members were involved in individual projects.
Starsailor announced their reunion on 23 May 2014 and began performing worldwide. Good Souls: The Greatest Hits was released in September 2015 and featured two new songs. Their fifth studio album All This Life was released in 2017 & was followed by Where The Wild Things Grow in 2024
Hits include 2003 single Silence Is Easy which reached number 9 in the UK, and Four To The Floor which reached number one in France as well as the top five in Australia.
Starsailor's 2025 tour includes a 25th anniversary celebration in the UK and Europe. The tour will include shows in May - November 2025 all shows tickets etc below
